Russell-Carr Family Heritage Hall

Like branches on a tree, our lives may grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one in love. 

Annie Russell born June of 1885 in Lexington, Mississippi to Lucy (Russell) Carpenter. Annie was raised by mother Lucy and Stepfather Jesse Carpenter. Annie began to have children at the age of fifteen. By the the time Annie met Andrew Carr, Annie had 6 children. She married Andrew Carr May 27, 1923. In their union they had nine children. In 1955 Andrew and Annie packed up their family and moved up north to Chicago, Illinois. Where they lived the remaining days of their lives. Annie past away June of 1961 and Andrew past soon  after in September of 1961, and that is where the Russell-Carr Family legacy begins...
