It's that time again, family!

We are excited to officially announce our 56th Annual Russell-Carr Family Reunion! This year, we're heading to the beautiful Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, for four nights of family, fun, fellowship, and unforgettable memories!

We're switching things up a little this year! Instead of our traditional hotel accommodations, we'll be enjoying a family cabin experience, giving us more opportunities to spend quality time together, reconnect, and celebrate the legacy that has kept our family coming together for 56 years.

Please take a moment to review the important information below as we prepare for another memorable reunion!

1. Reunion Dates & Location

Dates: Thursday, August 5 – Monday, August 9, 2027
Location: Gatlinburg, Tennessee
Accommodations: 4 Nights in a Family Cabin

Our goal is to create a relaxing and enjoyable experience where family members of all ages can connect, laugh, share stories, and make new memories.

2. Registration Information

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

We encourage everyone planning to attend to register as early as possible.

IMPORTANT: Only ONE registration form is required per family. Please include all family members attending, including children, on your registration form.

Please understand that cabin beds are limited, and early registration is strongly encouraged to assist the committee with planning and accommodations.

3. Reunion Dues & Payment Plan

To help make this reunion affordable and manageable for everyone, we have established the following dues:

• Ages 10 & older: $200 per person

• Ages 9 & under: $90 per child

Reunion dues include cabin lodging.

We understand that families need time to plan financially, so payments have been divided into three scheduled dates:

Payment 1: November 15, 2026
Payment 2: February 15, 2027
Payment 3: May 15, 2027

All reunion dues must be paid in full by May 15, 2027.

IMPORTANT: All payments are non-refundable after May 15, 2027.

We strongly encourage families to begin planning and making payments early to avoid any last-minute financial burdens.

4. Cabin Accommodations

This year's reunion will offer something a little different from our previous gatherings!

Our family will enjoy a shared cabin experience surrounded by the beautiful Smoky Mountains.

Please keep in mind:

• Cabin lodging is included in your reunion dues.

• Beds are limited, so early registration is important.

• Additional information regarding cabin arrangements, room assignments, and accommodations will be shared as planning progresses.

We ask everyone to remain flexible and understanding as the committee works to coordinate accommodations for our family.

5. Weekend Activities & Highlights

We've got some exciting activities planned to bring everyone together!

Thursday – Welcome Cookout
Kick off the reunion with good food, laughter, and an opportunity to reconnect with family.

Cades Cove Mountain Drive
Enjoy the beautiful scenery and breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains.

Family Photo
Capture another year of Russell-Carr family history with a group family photo.

Sunday Worship
Come together for a special time of faith, reflection, and gratitude.

Farewell Bonfire
Close out our reunion with a cozy evening of storytelling, laughter, and family fellowship.

A complete schedule of events, including dates, times, and additional details, will be shared closer to the reunion.

6. Special Requests & Important Reminders

We want everyone to have an enjoyable and comfortable reunion experience.

If you or a family member have special accommodation needs, mobility concerns, or other requests, please communicate those needs to the committee as early as possible.

A few important reminders:

• One registration form per family.

• Cabin beds are limited. Register early!

• Final payment is due May 15, 2027.

• Payments are non-refundable after May 15, 2027.
